Say Hello to My Little Friend

Don't you love frogs? I've been looking around different design blogs for nursery ideas and I found this pattern at The Purl Bee. All the babies I've been around lately just like to chew on things, so I thought this would be a good place to start for toys - a squishy bean bag. This project took less than an hour, so I'm going to make a whole bunch of different animals. What do boys like? Snakes? Lizards? That's all I've got so far.

p.s. Although the eyes are really cute. I'm pretty sure they present a health risk, so I took them off and gave this frog to my dog - she acted like she'd died and gone to heaven.

Lauren, you should know that you have a blog stalker in Reno. I would call her an admirer really, but she often comments to me about your cute blog entries!

Cute idea, even if it its only good for a pup.

By the way.. I love your Halloween decorations, they are cute, and how was the cake? Looks delish. I might have to try it sometime.

Dayna,

That cake is amazing, and it's so easy and fast. You might be sorry that you've ever experienced it, because you'll make it again and again - if you're like me.

Jo,

I'd never thought of a monkey! That's going to be a little trickier, but I'm going to try it. We'll see how it goes.

I love your frog, by the way-- so cute. Where do you find your fabrics?

You take nesting to a whole new level. Never stop. You give me hope in Homemaking. Thank you for making it an art.

Julianne,

I sent your package off last week, so it should be arriving tomorrow, I think.

Most of my fabrics I get right here in Provo at The Cotton Shop, but the lines that I use are usually sold in any good shop. A good place to look online is Moda Fabrics, or Purl Soho. They have amazing things there.

This little froggie is soo cute and very smart. Can you make one of these for Mathias and we will pay you for it? I can't think of anything better than a toy full of beans for him to teeth on right now.
