This is probably the most fun I have had being pregnant. Actually going to the store and BUYING something! And, I hold up these little clothes knowing that he is going to be wearing them in 9 short weeks and I start giggling. Plus, it has been so fun to do this with my sisters and my Mom and Dad. My Dad went through everything and said "You need more of this...more of that...and later I am going to teach you my super secret diaper changing method for ultimate efficiency". I love my family! It's been so fun to be around them for these last few days and see that they are anticipating the arrival of this baby with as much excitement as I am.
And, this is my favorite little outfit! Oh my goodness it kills me! I know that he will be wearing onesies all the time that will get destroyed, but every once in a while...I'm going to put him in this little number and take lots of pictures, and pretend that I don't spend all my time cleaning up poop and spit up.

Dear Lauren,
you are doing a great Job shopping for our Baby! he is going to be so stylish!
I am jealous that you are back East during this perfect time of year. Maryland/DC was made for fall.
I love your good family for helping you shop. I read books and books on what one needed when the baby was born.
I found that they did not need much...but extra onesies and cute outfits are the best. Especially since you are having a winter baby.
What sweet little baby clothes. There is nothing like a newborn in a soft little jumpsuit to snuggle up with. :)
I love that last outfit too. So cute. Where is it from? And I love how your Dad is so involved- that is funny some of the things he said. So great you have a wonderful family to support you and get excited with you during this time. I bet they can't wait to meet the little fella.
Can you let the rest of us in on that super secret efficient diaper changing strategy??
And by the way, I never knew cleaning up poo and spit up could be so completely fulfilling! You're going to love it all. (I mean that seriously!). :)
